Delta-neutral farming on GMX was genuinely profitable — go long and short simultaneously to capture the funding rate spread, sometimes at 100%+ APY with leverage. But doing it manually required deep DeFi knowledge, constant monitoring, and significant capital. GoldLink built the protocol to automate it. The design challenge: how do you explain a product where the value proposition requires understanding mechanics most users haven't encountered?
Deposit flow
Lenders need to understand what they're earning yield on, what protects their capital, and how to get in and out. We designed the deposit flow to answer those questions before they were asked.
Strategy onboarding
Borrowers face more complexity — understanding the leverage mechanics, risk parameters, and liquidation conditions. We built a strategy onboarding flow that walks through each parameter with contextual explanation.
Position management
Once deployed, users need to monitor health, add/withdraw collateral, and close positions. The management view surfaced the right signals at the right time without overwhelming.
Architecture
The overall product architecture — how lenders and borrowers share the same protocol, how reserves map to strategies, how the health system works across both sides.
